The discussion yesterday at the Heritage Panel was terrific. It was fascinating to compare the different approaches to performing our heritage stories with Anna Nguyen of Trikhon Theatre. Thanks also to Elaine Foo who chaired and Shzr Ee Tan for organising the panel as part of the Asian Performing Arts Forum, and to the SEA ArtsFest.

Bound Feet Blues is part of the Sight / Unseen Drama Conference...!

The most thrilling part for me is that the extract from Bound Feet Blues will be read by actor Julie Cheung-Inhin. Under Jessica Higg‘s direction, Julie will be reading a number of the scenes from the play and I am curious to see what the play can be like when performed by someone other than me!
