CHILDREN like nothing more than playing in the mud, climbing trees and exploring the great outdoors. But in the last 30 years or more the popularity of computer games and parental worries over safety and “stranger danger” have drastically reduced the time children spend playing in parks, woods and fields. Time for a change! #outdoorplay

From a past participant: "This will be my third outdoor experiences with Andrew McMartin from the the p.i.n.e. project and have left each time with thoughts about how his work is changing the way we support children and families to embrace the importance of connecting to nature, in nature. Andrew and his colleagues mentor us to be open to children's natural curiosities as they happen in the moment. The way that he engages us in meaningful explorations is truly magical. See you there!"
