Today was our first time visiting after living in Savannah for two years. Why did we wait so long!? The food was excellent and the staff up beat and helpful. Th...e boerewors was a great sausage experience and the gyro was the best I've ever had. Ate here at the recommendation from one of the horse drawn carriage touristy things that people do. Pissed that I wasted a meal at Lady and Sons the night befo...re. Next time in Savannah I will eat here, and only here. I want one where I live and in every city I travel to. It's great. The "godfather" was amazing. From the bread to the perfect amount of sauce and the South African sausage, it is easily the best sandwich I've ever had. I'd give more stars if I could, I tried and it won't let me. عرض المزيد

I lived in Savannah from 2005 - 2010 and to say I ate here everyday would be an underestimate. In fact, I actually rented an apartment conveniently located two ...blocks away just to be closer to Zunzi's. Yes, it's that good. Yes, its number of fans are that devoted. Yes, we're all probably batshit crazy. For us Savannians, it's a borderline cult were glad to be following. This establishment will always be my favorite restaurant with The Conquistador (get both sauces on it now) being my favorite meal of all-time. If you are traveling through or vacationing here, this is a must stop. The food is toothsome, the staff is welcoming, and I have never had a bad meal or experience here. عرض المزيد

Went with family and
Friends last night. Not our first trip, as our son had turned us onto the place a couple of years ago. But this trip was a little differen...t. We took folks that had no idea about the place, and questioned our choice in a place that server falafel and South African sausage. These friends aren't as adventurous as the wife and I.
When all was said and done, they are now as much a fan as we are - the fantastically friendly staff and the wonderfully prepared and flavorful food blew us all away.
Needless to say, we will go back every time we go to Savannah, and our friends will, too.
Can't recommend this place enough. I wear my stickers and tshirt with pride. SHIT YEAH! عرض المزيد

What amazing food! I LOVE that curry sauce. Wish I'd got a bottle to take back to NC. So glad we got to try the award winning Conquistador! Wow it was so delicious. Loved those New Orleans style kettle chips too!!!!

Although the chicken conquistador is one of the best sandwiches on earth, try the Boerewors (South African Sausage) for a really unique flavor!

Never to disappoint, My lunch was on the house because I only had 10min on the meter and could not wait 15min for the Chicken to come out of the oven. So I went with the sausage. Delicious!

Probably the best hole-in-the-wall restaurant I've ever been to. They were quick and efficient given the lunch rush, and the staff was most certainly friendly and customer oriented.

Get the homemade sausage by the way, it's amazing.

Really unique blend of flavors. The sauce is incredible. A must try in the city of Savannah. It's a local favorite for a reason.
My only critique is that there is too much thyme in the sauce and it's all you can taste afterward. Not a good aftertaste.

Shit Ya I highly recommend. We ordered the conquistador & portebello sub. DELICIOUS. Bought two bottles of sauces. 3 refills on the green tea. Staff really enjoyed their job... That in itself should drive you to try out the flavor-filled zunzi's!!!
