Of the three Ethiopian restaurants in the metroplex I have tried, this is my favorite.The staff is very friendly, and the food never disappoints. The coffee is amazing!
The vegetarian combo is the best value, in my opinion.

Excellent food with awesome staff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Clean without being stale. The food is truly addictive and well made. Would highly recommended this place for a nicely done meal in a classy but unpretentious atmosphere. We loved it.

Wanted to take my family out for an Ethiopian cuisine to celebrate Ethiopian Christmas....what started out as a fun outing quickly turned sour. The place is a disorganized mess and if you are looking for service....we'll good luck to you.

I have eaten and cooked Ethiopian food for 25 yrs i love Desta. prices are a bit high, unless four or more people are eating with u. You get great service and good size portions

Was absolutely phenomenal!! Never had Ethiopian food before, but now that is all I want to eat. Servers were so nice and friendly, portions were more than enough, and not a very long wait for the food either. Will definitely be returning soon.

Desta is closed for breakfast and lunch to complete needed repairs. We'll reopen Wed. Sept 2 at 5pm for dinner.

Come to Desta every Saturday from 7pm to close for the live musical stylings of Semalawit!

We'll be closing at 3pm on April 25th, Saturday, for a private event. We'll resume regular business hours on Sunday, the 26th of April.

In honor of Ethiopian Orthodox Easter, we will be opening at noon on Sunday.

We're closing for the day so everyone can beat that ice. Drive safely out there.
