Yesterday I visited Walnut Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Evansville. Outstanding care for people affected by Alzheimer’s as well as other dementia related illnesses. Congress has strongly supported increased funding for the National Institutes of Health helping to support Alzheimer’s research.

This morning I toured Allison Transmission the world’s largest manufacturer of commercial-duty automatic transmissions and a leader in electric hybrid propulsion systems. It was wonderful learning from the hardworking Hoosiers who spend everyday building these machines.
