This was a lovely Gluten free option that is so rare, but when we had takeaway the second time we went there, they chucked the cake box into a bag sidewise and all the cakes got squashed. Was all stil...l very tasty though and would defo recommend to anyone visiting Paris with gluten intolerance or celiac. See More

Absolutely brilliant. I moved to France in June but live in a small town where gf options are non existent. I visited Paris in November and you guys provided me with my first fresh French baguette exp...erience. It was so good, I cried! To come here and eat without worry of trace elements and cross contamination was sheer heaven. See More

Delicious sandwich and pain au chocolat! Definitely would recommend for celiacs. It was super comforting to know the whole cafe was gluten free.

Wonderful surprise to find in Paris. Managed to experience pastries and bread like the Parisian. Worth the trip to find it for coeliacs.

Amazing! The lemon meringue tart and chocolate eclair were delicious. I also got their bread and it is great even plain. The top spot for anyone with celiac disease to visit in Paris. Friends who don'...t eat GF were also impressed. See More

From one chef to another, it was worth visiting your beautiful little cafe to indulge freely in cake. Enough options for lactose and nut intolerance, as well as no gluten. After presenting an allergy ...card, staff were able to use their documentation to advise best/safest options for us. We had a rhubarb tart, lemon meringue tart, lemon custard filled choux, chocolate choux pastry and tea. All delicious (and I'm very fussy). Thank you for the sugar fix! See More

I had been dreaming about my visit to Helmut Newcake for quite awhile, as I have been coeliac for 8 years and could not wait to visit a place devoted to 'sans gluten'. I was not disappointed, it was w...onderful! The flavors were fabulous and the textures were perfect (which is something rare when it comes to 'sans gluten' items). We made it in near closing time, so the options were slim.... but everything that we left with was amazing. See More

After looking up several gluten free places to try in Paris, my boyfriend and I decided on here as it was close by to where we were staying. Best decision we made all holiday. The food was incredible ...(especially the caramel eclairs), the guy running the place was brilliant - really friendly and accomodating to my nut allergy, checking the ingredients of everything and telling me what would be good for me to have. After having such a great experience the first time we went back the next day, which was even better. We even took stuff to go home with. Highly recommend the trip there. See More

Most amazing gluten free bakery! Very friendly service. I have visited the 'must see' gluten free places in Paris and this was by far the best. The eclairs are to die for. Definitely worth a visit!

My husband & I were in Paris for a few days in early June. My husband has to eat a gluten free diet and so we visited Helmut Newcake and were delighted with the aal food being gluten free. The salmon ...tartare was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed a lovely relaxed lunch. We took some pastries away to have as we continued our walk along Canal St Martin. They were absolutely delicious and I would encourage anyone visiting Paris who is gluten free to search out this cafe. We also visited the bakery at rue Vignon which had the same sort of selection to take away, which was great for a picnic. Many thanks! See More

This place has the best gluten free desserts I've ever had in my life. To be in Paris and not be able to partake in the amazing pastries here is torture! When I found this gem of a patisserie I couldn...'t believe it. I tried about 6 different pastries and all were fantastic. My favorite was the La Madame de Fontanay. Oh. My. God. I have never had something so delicious, gluten free, or with gluten, EVER. I am still dreaming about it! I'm leaving tomorrow and I'm actually considering going there before I have to go to the airport just to experience it one more time. I am so thankful for this place! If only they would open in NYC one day!! See More

The cakes were fantastic. First eclair au chocolat since I started a GF diet. The staff is really nice. I truly recommend it. A must-go to place for all free-from people.

I just returned to Toronto from Paris and I cannot rave enough about the baguette and treats I picked up on my last day there (chocolate eclair and lemon meringue tart). Everything tasted fantastic!

It was lovely to be able to eat French pasteries during my stay in Paris. I highly recommended the chocolate hazelnut eclairs. Helmut Newcake is a must for coeliacs visiting Paris.
