That’s a wrap at the 2018 Para Cycling Track National Championships! There were 3 more personal best times and another season’s best time. A great effort after a tough week training, including heat acclimation in the heat chamber to get ready for the UCI Para Cycling Track World Championships in Rio in March. Congratulations to all athletes and coaches and all the best for the upcoming World Championships. #SpiritOfGold #Paracycling #Tokyo

Fantastic to be involved in the second edition of the ACC & Adecco “Employing people with disabilities” seminar. This is a joint initiative whereby ACC New Zealand and Adecco New Zealand are taking a leadership position, challenging their business networks to start employing disabled people – as they do.
Paralympian, Kate Horan joined approximately 120 attendees to hear from a series of speakers including Tim Johnson (2004 Wheelblacks and ACC employee) and ACC Minister, @Iai...n Lees-Galloway.
Ian Sargeant (our Commercial Partnerships Manager) spoke about PNZ’s support of the Adecco Athlete Career Programme and PNZ’s work through the Spirit of Gold® Initiative (with ACC and all our Partners) to challenge perceptions of disability and to promote diversity and social inclusion.

What a milestone! Paralympian Adam J Hall competed in his 100th World Para Alpine Skiing Cup in Canada.

Adam placed 4th and 5th in the Downhill event and 4th in the Super G.

Adam said, "We had our last races before the Paralympic Winter Games in Kimberley as part of World Cup finals this week. This series of races again was challenging with a mixture of weather conditions. Rain/snow/visibility and more snow! Everyone pushed hard to get these speed races underway as these wer...e the only speed races of the season leading into the Games due to multiple race cancellations on the World Cup circuit. I have been happy with my performances this week. Consistent top 5 finishes with all races being extremely close. Looking forward to working hard over the coming days and final weeks leading into Games time."
