From the first day we walked in for a drink we loved this place. They are a distillery and there own gin made with pine is gorgeous. Our barman was lovely and very friendly and so we booked for food o...n the Sunday night. We weren’t disappointed. Cheryl our waitress was super lovely, making us feel so welcome. We had meatballs and burger and it was tasty. We love the atmosphere in the park and every member of the team is great. We enjoyed it so much we came back Monday night. We had prime rib and New York strip steak. OMG the New York strip steak is the best steak we’ve ever had. Our waitress that night Danni was also lovely. So for our final night Tuesday we went back again. It was busy and we had to get a drink and wait till 8pm. It was worth the wait again. Atmosphere is so relaxed and buzzing. We both had New York strip and it was as amazing as the first night. Highly recommend. See More

Anyone considering going here - DON'T! It was the most horrible place I have been to in a very long time!! I rarely complain about a restaurant even when the food isn't great but this place was beyond... disgusting. I guess the warm tap water was supposed to impress me just because it was served in a wine bottle. I had to practically beg for ice. Ordered a drink which was horrendous! Usually anything with vodka (even a bad drink) I'll still drink and then order something else. One sip of this and I was gagging!! Continued on to order dinner. The chicken tasted like it went bad before they even cooked it, mashed potatoes (something you can't normally screw up) weren't good and a pile of leafy greens that were soaked in vinegar. I couldn't get beyond 4 bites of this meal. Thankfully they were quicker to take it away than to get me ice for the water. Left absolutely disgusted and feeling sick from what I had just tried. The good part was I only puked twice on the way back to Calgary from whatever horrible stuff I had at this place! See More

this is an Amazing Spot with amazing spirits and super friendly staff that are incredibly knowledgable about distilling and mixology. Right in the Heart of Banff with a modern yet warm welcoming!! Best Maple Rye on Earth!!! If your not from the area I highly recommend loading up at the gift shop/store where you can purchase thier fantastic spirits they have created. Don't hesitate, grab two or three because once your back in the middle of the Arizona desert like myself you will be wishing you grabbed a couple extra bottles. See More

Best vodka ever!!! Love this place... 5 star dining experience and ambiance. We only gave 4 stars, however, because you don’t ship to our country. Please start shipping to the US! Take pity on us...... Since our last election, we need the vodka more than you ;-) See More

The house gin was really very good, spruce botanicals rather than pine, and so fresh tasting. Great food and comfy seats by the window upstairs. We went 3 times over the weekend, all the servers were ...professional and friendly and we didn’t order anything that wasn’t good. See More

Place was packed, so we decided to wait – 5 minutes later we were seated and it was worth the wait.

My wife, son (12) and I went to Park Distillery Restaurant + Bar in Banff on a Saturday in December.... The place was larger than we expected as it wasn’t just the main floor and bar. There was more seating upstairs to the back and then up stairs again to the front with another bar and fireplace.

The service was great and we all enjoyed our meals. We didn’t have any appetizers, but our main course were; Prime Rib, Salmon Ceviche, and Surf & Turf Roll.

I tried the white rye that they brew in house, it was ok.

We definitely recommend this place. Even though we went there as a family, it would be a perfect place for adults to meet up for lunch or dinner or just a few appetizers and drinks. Plus it’s big enough that you should be able to get a seat on a Saturday night without waiting too long.

Was there yesterday with my son. He had the park burger and devoured it in a few minutes. Fresh cut fries are delicious. I had the fish tacos and they are the best so far.

My husband and I went for dinner. The atmosphere was good, our waiter was pleasant and fun.... Our food meh.
Overpriced for what we recieved in my opinion. My husband got the 25$ burger, the bun so wet he could not pick it up yo eat it. It was cold and very fatty. He was very disappointed. I got the quarter chicken which was fine... Nicely cooked, but nothing special. Overall disappointing. See More

Fantastic experience ruined in the end. We were only going to run in and buy some of their fabulous spirits and continue on to the restaurant where we had reservations. We when walked in we decided t...o see if they had any openings and we were in luck. Our waitress Casper was amazing throughout the meal. Both of us ordered the prime rib which was fantastic. So here is where it went bad. We finished our meal and went to the retail store. The girl who was working in there gruffly said hello (as if we were a nuisance to her). When I tried to ask her questions on the different types of vodka and she answered as if we interrupting something very important. Guess sitting on her butt on a stool and not making eye contact is top notch customer service. I made my choices with no real help from her. She than rang my purchases in (received 10% off for eating in the restaurant... nice bonus) and asked me if wanted a bag for my bottles. Pretty sure they don't want people walking the sidewalk in Banff with bottles in their hand. I said yes that would be nice and she put both bottles in the bag together. I had to ask her to wrap one of the bottles in another bag so they wouldn't bang together and possibly break. She huffed and said sure and grabbed one of the bottles and wrapped it and handed it back for me to put in the bag. She said have a good night again not making any kind of eye contact. These are premium homemade spirits you are buying and some explanation is required at times. If you are not willing to help people out maybe you need to be working in another capacity. Maybe in the back of house away from the customers. The food and Casper were enough for us to return. Just next time I will know not to expect much out of the retail side. See More

Very nice place to hang out. Great choice of beer and of course excellent Vodka, Rye, Gin. The very special taste of the chili Vodka and the Expresso Vodka makes the cocktail experience even greater. ...Try the Sawback cocktail or the Expresso martini. If you can make it to the bar at on the top floor say hello to Jo the sweetest bar tender ever. He knows all about the different alcool and has very good discussion. See More

Rad bar. Rad food. Rad drinks. Rad tour. Rad gift shop.
General radness is the theme of Park. I left with a bottle of without a doubt the best Rye I have ever tasted. I will come back to Park every I visit Banff, without question or hesitation. Well..... I'll leave with hesitation! See More

Overall the play has a great ambiance and the staff we helpful bit not in your face. Tried a GnT and the observation deck cocktail wow that was nice, I would go back this 4. Now the food well that is... expensive but presented well, we shared a prime rib and sides. The steak was fatty and tough and lacked taste. Although I won't be back to Banff for many years and there is many restaurants to choose from I'm sure they will succeed. See More

In Banff for the afternoon. Experienced the distillery tour. This is the only spirits distillery/restaurant in Canada, one of only two in North America, and the only one in a National Park in the worl...d. Great info on the distilling process, local suppliers and nil environmental impact/waste. Our group tasted some unique cocktails and spirits. Purchased a rye whiskey
...can't call it "Canadian" Rye yet. Needs to be aged 3 years. The distillery started in 2015. "Canadian" rye will be ready in 2018.

Our server was awesome! (I Should have got his name) he answered all our questions professionally and courteously. We went in for a bit of a late lunch and our food and drinks came quickly. I had the... salad wedge and just wished their was a bread option to add to it. Fortunately my husband let me sneak some of his fries. Then I was wishing I had ordered a plate of fries as a side (don't know if that would have been allowed) but OMG best fries I've ever had! They do a sweet, salty, hickory seasoning that gives such a nice smoky flavor. And the fries stayed crispy until the end. I would go back just for more of those fries! See More

Food was good, served promptly, reception and waiting staff pleasant. It's an impressive venue. Beer was excellent, so while I was waiting for food to arrive I visited the little gift shop at front of... bar. Young woman there far too busy to tear herself away from something hilarious on her computer screen to make eye contact or raise conversation above cursory grunts. I was interested in buying at least 2 bottles of gin as gifts but her apathy soured the deal and I returned to my beer. See More
