These sweet birds are now spending their days dust bathing, eating treats, and living in a clean environment. Unfortunately, that has not always been the case. These birds were saved from a hoarding case where the animals basic needs were not being met. Thanks to people like you and donations from our Amazon Wish List, we can provide them with a loving environment, clean food and water, and lots of yummy treats. Please consider visiting our Amazon Wish List today. #WishList #ThankYou
THANK YOU! Houston is doing great! Recently, we asked our community to help Houston, a brave little Hurricane Harvey survivor who needed surgery for his severely rotated hip. Update: YOU DID IT! Houston's surgery was a success! His recovery includes hydrotherapy. As you can see from the video, he is a little nervous, but doing absolutely wonderful! He will build vital muscle and be jumping and playing in no-time. Houston will live a happy, pain-free life because of you! The best part of his recovery is that he is now in a loving foster home. His foster family will adopt him after he is finished with his recovery. #HoustonDog #Success #ThankYou

Three years ago today 01/01/2015, my wife who was battling metastatic breast cancer that spread to her brain, found our beautiful Petey online at Pasado’s Safe Haven, to be a companion for our PomChi ...Vida, and we fell in love with him. Though my wife passed from cancer that same year on 10/22/15, Petey & Vida were there by her side until then end. I am so lucky to still be surrounded by her love with my two fur babies. Thank you Pasado’s for rescuing him from the Kitsap County Humane Society so he could find his forever home with us! See More

We adopted an older rooster from Pasado’s Safe Haven, and we couldn’t be happier. They did an amazing job of matching us to the right pet, and he has been such a great addition to our flock. Because... their veterinarians had already assessed him, wormed him, and quarantined him, it was super easy to transition him in with our girls. If you’ve ever considered getting a rooster, a mature adult Roo is a great way to go, and the Pasado’s team will make sure you succeed. See More

7 yrs ago today we brought Arnie home from Pasado ' s Safe Haven. He was a little rough around the edges having survived a car accident that left him without his owners. After escaping a family's home to go back to the scene of the accident, he was, for his own safety, surrendered to Pasados. We fell in love ..the rest is history...happy day Arnie!
And thanks to Pasado ' s for saving him...arnie died last year but we are grateful everyday to pasado's for bring us together....also 2 other members of our family, a bonded pair of geriatric newfie. Thank you pasados!

We are very happy about your service. You have kind and accommodating staff who helped with our kitten Wolfie. Unbelievable that your services are so professional and absolutely free! Even going to still provide your services should a problem arise later. Thank you so much for helping us and for making us into completely responsible animal parents. See More

Zero professionals and hardly any licensed animal handlers. One year ago pasados lost my dog within minutes of neutering and handled the situation in the worst way possible while we created our own se...arch team with no info from them. This non-profit organization is all about Profit not about the lives of these precious animals and their families thankyou See More

Definitely visit the sanctuary for one of their Fire & Earth Kitchen cooking classes or monthly tours — fantastic events and opportunities to meet the animals. Beautiful location. Fun to see the in healing environments, getting the opportunity to just be and breathe. Great opportunities to volunteer at the farm or doing outreach and events - supportive environment, good community. Pasado's also does education, outreach and advocacy for the animals. See More

I just finished the Seven Lives Seven Days challenge. This challenge was presented to me at a point in my life when I needed to change my diet and do something right for the animals. This challenge ...was the answer. I accomplished it! Reading the daily blogs that you sent me, thoroughly reading food labels and making many of the suggested recipes, it really was easy to do. I feel GREAT, not only health-wise, but also making a difference in animals lives. All animals are Mother Nature's gifts to us, and we need to respect what is given to us that most take for granted. Years ago I made the change to use only vegan, cruelty free cosmetics and cleaners. Now, I will continue eating plant based foods. THANK YOU for presenting me with this challenge and a HUGE THANK YOU for doing what you. ANIMALS RIGHTS ALL THE WAY! See More

Jenny of Pasado's Safe Haven is an angel sent from Heaven. Two of my clients were living in an unsafe home and were in the process of moving to a new home in Eastern Washington. The problem was two of... the cats could not be caught, and the clients refused to move without them. Jenny came out multiple times, full of grace and respect, until the cats were trapped and on their way to their new home. I cannot say enough good things about Jenny and this organization. They are truly amazing people. Thank you for all you do!!! See More

Your page talks about how you save animals. What are you doing to save Silver? Why are you not updating your page on what you are doing to find Silver, since you are responsible for him being lost! Or... is he not really lost? It's time to step up to the plate! All of us concerned people are not going to go away! See More

I have worked at Pasado's Safe Haven for over 9 years. As with any organization, there have been a few rough bumps in the road. But, Pasado's Save Haven has been able to navigate rough waters while ...continuing to do the very important work of fighting for the animals. I can tell you first hand ... no matter what barriers or obstacles have come up throughout the years, this organization has not stopped being a voice for the animals. See More

Too bad Silver can't wish his mom Happy New Year. You post an update, but leave out the fact that it was actually Chelsea Heuft who found the tracker, not you. You leave out the fact that you wouldn't... allow her onto the property at all and in the beginning no one there would talk to her. You haven't explained why or even how Silver managed to escape. We all know that a dog who had just had surgery should not have been out walking; and whoever decided to take him out should have checked to make certain his collar was tight so he could not get out of it. You say you have not reached out to media under the advisement of the tracker. Don't you think that after almost a month, you should be calling and contact everyone you can think of to get help? Then lastly, and most importantly is this line that you threw in there (was it for sympathy for PSH, the guilty party here?) "We are a small team, and are using our time and energy to focus our activities on what will be most productive to get Silver home to his family." Unless something has changed since I worked there, I'm sure that you are still the same size you were back then and I'm sure you still have as many volunteers. BUT YOU LOST THIS DOG!!! You should be out there every single day, You should have been out there that day immediately and not gone back until you found him. Instead of waiting Monday to start looking for him. When you decided that it would be a good thing to remove Pasado from the logo, you also removed the heart of what this place was. Shame on all of you starting with Laura then to Kim Koon, going on to Jenny Frawley and right on down the line. You all have proven that you don't speak for the animals anymore - you speak for money now! See More

We had the best time at Pasados today. It's so heartwarming to see all the hardworking employees and volunteers that truly love the animals and are trying to educate people on animal cruelty. Loved it!

We have done 2 work parties for Pasados and I've done one of their tours. I really love this organization. When you meet the animals they've rescued, you can see they are happy and healthy. The staff ...really loves and cares for them. They are doing great things! I will continue to donate my time and money to such a great place. See More
