October 2014 - Roof truss and batten installation for shingle roof.

One of the jobs I'm proud of - sliding screens at a house in Fresnaye three years ago.
I never got paid for this job by Brice Construction. 😒

Christopher became a new friend on FaceBook I really enjoy his posts his thoughts, humour and ideas. I feel very connected with Christopher we seem to have a lot in common in our understanding in many... ways. I'm glad we became friends and despite our home locations being so far apart, I hope that we will remain pen pals for a very long time. I recently viewed some examples of Christopher's craftsmanship he is a true master of his craft a very talented and capable individual. See More

A recent project that I thoroughly enjoyed, a custom made matching rustic pine table and benches. The benches can be pushed under the table for space.
Do consider giving your wife a season's gift and place your order with me.

Cupboards throughout the house with high gloss finish for the kitchen satin finish for the bedroom cupboards & bathroom unit, and Kiaat veneer for the wash-hand basin and the wall unit.

One of the structural repair jobs. The problem was showing within 2 years of the builder completing the job.
Don't have regrets - contact us if you need catherdral type roofs done professionally.

Some of the few projects I did, years ago, while doing work for the Linger Longer group of Restaurants in Johannesburg. I built the gazebo for Linger Longer and the service bar for Turtle Creek.
The Linger Longer patrons dined under the gazebo and the area looked very romantic under dimed lights and table candle lights. My employer was Ben Filmalter who started the Mugg & Bean franchise.

Another happy customer! We just delivered a custom-built Oak bookcase and T.V. stand. We used Nanolac to seal (varnish) the Oak.

Camps Bay 2012 - Decks, decks and decks.
Design by Jonathan Hill Architects

Iroko wood pergola at Camps Bay, 2012. The photos say it all!

Construction of decked BALCONIES in Camps Bay, 2012.
Steel posts were supplied by the builder, and we set out and plumb-bobbed the posts and built the balconies followed by Garapa decking. We also put Iroko handrails on the balustrades.
Iroko (Africa) was used for the beams and joists of the balconies, and it makes a good combination with Garapa (South America). The steel posts were clad with Iroko with mitered joints and LOTS of clamps.

House Teeger, Camps Bay, 2012 - Structural and post cladding with Iroko wood. Showing some before and after photos.

Betty's Bay, April 2012 - Sub-contracted to West Cape Joinery by replacing the rotted Meranti balustrade with a replicated African Padauk balustrade manufactured by them. We did the site work at 'Polperro'.
The ABE Epidermix epoxy was used to seal the joints between the balustrades and the posts & walls.
Meranti is NOT recommended for outdoors use.
