About Troy D.
  • Acts 26:16 "But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee"

My life is not my own. I have been bought and paid for by the Blood of Jesus Christ and now He is in charge of my decsion making. Prior to that--I had the license and lattitude to do and be whatever I wanted--but once I surrendered my life to Jesus I became obligated and commited to following Him. You cannot serve (2) masters---and at the end of the day God will not be looking for those who "claimed" to know and love Him, but rather those who abandoned "self" and submitted wholely unto Him--that is my goal.

‎((((PLEASE NOTE)))) To those that do/have participated in the threads seen here on my personal FB page – you are in no way obligated to “like”, “comment”, “subscribe” or even “read” these threads. Should you decided to “block” them, “unfriend” me, or simply “ignore” these thread – that is certainly your prerogative and I will not be offended or otherwise upset with you for doing so.

Proverbs 27:17 tells us that “Iron sharpens Iron..” and these threads are designed to do just that. Most of these topics are meant to provide a forum to discuss – (a) sound Biblical apologetics (b) leadership principles (c) ministry opportunities and testimonies

Because of the nature of these threads, much of what is discussed and even the manner in which it comes across may not be right for everyone. Depending on a person’s maturity, experience, education, calling, giftedness, or ministry office – these topics may be misunderstood and at times even offensive to some. My advice and recommendation would be to merely move on to one of the other multi-million posts of threads that would more closely fit into your social networking desires.

If you desire to participate in one of these threads or forums originating on my personal page, please do. You are welcome as long as you understand that your comments and input will be scrutinized and methodically responded to from a Biblical and leadership perspective.

If you do not like to see scriptures used to provide a basis for my comments, then please know that this is probably not the place for you to participate.

If you do not like to see sin called out (even when it involved “christian celebrities”) then this is probably not the place for you to participate.

If you do not desire to live a life of holiness and sanctification through Christ Jesus with the expectation to live about a chronically sinful life – this is sure not a place where you would want to participate.

I just wanted to clear this up and share with you my perspective on these things. Much can be lost in translation when one is limited to the written word devoid of personal contact, verbal inflection, etc..
