REACH MS’s Early Childhood PBIS initiative was out in the community last night! Dr. Brittany Herrington shared lots of great information with area child care and preschool programs as they learned how to intentionally teach social emotional skills to toddlers and preschoolers! A great night!
One of our favorite things about the structure of REACH MS is our Model Site system. Schools from across our state that are implementing PBIS with fidelity and have met the requirements of the SET (a nationally standardized PBIS evaluation tool) open their doors to other schools and allow them to observe, explore, and learn from them. We remember when we were over the moon to have our very first REACH MS PBIS Model Site and now we have over seventy sharing with the schools just getting started on their journey!
Thank you to Northwest Rankin Elementary for always being willing to share your knowledge and your process! You're a great example! And kudos to North Pontotoc Elementary for doing the work necessary to create a positive system that works for your students and school community!
