The place was overcrowded, not clean, and unorganized. I really can appreciate the efforts being made here, but perhaps they are just overwhelmed. We paid $100 for two kittens and received a carrier t...hat stunk of urine for our way home (it was a nice thought though). Unfortunately, our kittens were very dirty and riddled with fleas. I received no care information toward any shots or deworming so I had to take the kittens to the vet immediately. Not sure where my money is going. See More

Misty was very easy to talk to during my donation. They are a NO-KILL shelter but they do need as many donations as possible. They are trying very, very hard to make these animals lives a lot better.

I have a Rescue dog and I love him dearly, Ms Cathy gave him to me so he would have a home. She pays for his medications and healthcare if he needs to see the Vet. I cant afford to keep him because I ...only have Social Security. She takes Animals that no one else wants and cares for them. She has more compassion in her little finger than 10 people put together. God Bless this Rescue. See More

This rescue facility is awesome. The owner has a magnanimous love for fur babies. God has chosen her to take in and love each one of her fur babies and then ultimately find each one their "forever hom...e." She will not leave one in a home that does not supply ALL the needs of that particular dog or cat. This facility is so worthy of your support! See More

Love Cathy! She has a furry heart! You see it when she tends to the puppies and the kitties.. The old dog and the elderly cats.

Willow is now a member of our family after spending a few years with Peace, Love, and Animals. She is so sweet and is starting to trust us more and more. Everyone at the rescue was friendly and helpf...ul. They gave us the the straight truth about our dog and how we would have to be patient with her and give her time. Cathy was so loving with her and made sure our home was ready for a new member. Would highly recommend this rescue group! See More

Good hearted people here! This rescue takes in and saves the most needy cats and dogs. The director has slept many nights on the concrete floor next to a sick animal; she personally bottle feeds newbo...rns that have lost their mother. They are picky about the homes they adopt to, but that's a good thing! Great rescue group! See More

Misti and Brandy were both willing to help me rescue a feral mommy and her 4 babies. Hubby and I are in process of making the agonizing decision of which pup(s) to give a forever-home. LOVE PLA!

PETITION: Stop supermarkets selling live packaged turtles. Horrific and barbaric but they can be stopped. Please take a minute to sign and share and TWEET to the world. It's an uphill struggle but we ...can make them (supermarkets) listen! Thank you. See More

Ginger is a small, 9 year old, Boxer/Bulldog mix that has stolen the hearts of everyone at Peace, Love and Animals. If a volunteer has not been to the rescue in a while, the first dog they ask to see is Ginger. She is a pistol and always full of it! But her love of running and playing has now become a problem at her age. Ginger was diagnosed with a torn knee. Like any good Mother, it tears my heart apart to see one of my babies suffering. But before ...we jumped into surgery, I wanted to know that I have tried everything. So, for the past 4 months, we have been doing drug therapy and low activity. Sadly, I am only seeing her decline. I contacted our vet to see what the cost would be to go ahead with surgery. My heart fell when the estimate was $2500 - $3000. We honestly don't have the funds. I am with her everyday and my once happy, wiggly and vibrant girl now spends her days laying on her cot, eyes closed as if she is trying to tolerate the pain. She has very little interest in food or toys. We cannot do the surgery until we have the funds. PLEASE, from the bottom of my heart, I am begging for help. She is a super tough girl and doing her best to keep going. She needs this surgery desperately. We all want to see our happy and vibrant girl again. It will soon be Spring/Summer. Ginger loves being outside and playing in the puppy pool. Again, I am begging for your help to stop her suffering.
