17 year old Dominic Durham of the 1500 block of N. Patterson Park Avenue was arrested and charged as an adult with handgun and narcotics violations, and possession of an illegal dirt bike.

Durham is currently in Central Booking waiting to see a court commissioner.

This seizure and arrest further proves that illegal dirt bike riders are often participants in not only illegally riding dirt bikes, but are also partaking in the illegal drug trade as well as crimes of violence.

That victim was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.

Citywide shooting detectives are investigating this incident and have been unable to locate witnesses and know of no motives.

The dirt bike operator, a 23 year old male was pronounced dead on the scene.

Preliminary investigation revealed the driver of the Volkswagon, a 28 year old male, was in the westbound lane, parking his vehicle when the dirt bike ran into the rear of the Volkswagon.

The driver of the Volkswagon who has a valid driver's license remained at the scene. Officers don't believe alcohol was a factor.

Officers have learned that the dirt bike operator had no valid license and that the dirt bike had been stolen out of Baltimore County on July 21, 2016.

Crash Team Investigators are on the scene and have taken the lead on this case. This investigation remains open.

The second incident occurred on August 20, 2016 at the intersection of Russell and Hamburg Streets at about 4:00 a.m. The victim ran into the curb and had a tire blow out. The suspects pulled up behind the victim, just as police would, and robbed the victim of his property.

The suspects are described as four black males who all wore black tactical vests with the word "AGENT" written on them. Again, they were operating a gray Dodge Caliber.

Neither of the victims were injured and it is unknown as to whether or not the suspects were armed.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects and or their vehicle should call police.

The suspects are described as two black males, approximately 18-years of age, wearing dark clothing. One of the suspects was wearing a denim colored baseball cap. The suspects were last seen in the area of Baltimore Street and Stricker Street.

Craig Manning, of the 5400 block of Forrest Road was transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility where he is currently being held. He is charged with attempted murder and various assault and weapons related charges.

Members from the Baltimore Police Department’s Crash Team responded and assumed control of the investigation. Crash team officers determined that the 1993 Acura Integra was parked in the 3000 block of Indian Head Drive facing west bound on the east bound side of the road. The 2000 Lexus was travelling east bound at a high rate of speed in the east bound lane when it collided head on with the Acura. Both vehicles were destroyed upon impact.

Currently, Crash Team officers have not determined who was driving the Lexus. The Lexus was occupied by four people, one of whom refused to give his information. All four of the occupants were taken to area hospitals.

The Acura was occupied by two people. The operator of the vehicle, Scott King (27) of the 1700 block of Montpelier Street was transported to Bayview Hospital where he died a short time later. All of the other people who were involved in the crash are expected to survive their injuries.

Crash Team investigators are still investigating this crash as this investigation remains open and ongoing.

Officers arrested 29 year old William James of the 3200 block of Gulfport Drive and recovered a loaded 9mm handgun.

James was transported to Central Booking where he has been charged with handgun violations and is currently waiting to see a court commissioner. William James is prohibited from possessing a firearm.

The suspects are described as two black males, approximately 18-years of age, wearing dark clothing. One of the suspects was wearing a denim colored baseball cap. Upon arrival officers located a 38 year old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. The victim was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injury.

Citywide shooting detectives are investigating this shooting.

Preliminary investigation reveals the victim was loading dirt bikes onto a trailer, as he was taking his son to Bud’s Creek to ride. At that time, an unknown suspect approached and ordered him to take one of the bikes off the trailer. During the incident the victim was shot.

On August 19, 2016 at approximately 4:20 a.m., a Southern District officer was turning into the 200 block of S. Calhoun Street when he observed two suspects chasing a man. One of the suspects shot the victim, a 35 year old male in the chest.

The victim was taken to an area hospital and is in serious but stable condition, and is expected to survive his injury.

Both suspects evaded apprehension and remain at large.

Homicide Victims Identified

The following homicide victims have been identified as:

August 17, 2016 @ 1700 Malvern Street – Antron Muse (35) of the 6200 block of Fort View Avenue

August 17, 2016 @ 200 S Ellicott Drive – Steven B. Davis (47) of the Unit Block of N Bentalou Street

Officers arrested 41 year old Nakia Scott of the 2400 block of Loyola Northway, 45 Year old Eddie Johnson of the 1300 block of Lakeside Avenue and a 44 year old female. Scott and Johnson have both been charged with handgun and narcotics violations and are currently in Central Booking waiting to see a court commissioner.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Citywide Shooting detectives were summoned and assumed control of the investigation.

The victim's injuries are non-life threatening.
