On August 19, 2016 at approximately 4:30 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Seagull Avenue for a shooting.
Upon arrival officers located a 38 year old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. The victim was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injury.
Citywide shooting detectives are investigating this shooting.
Preliminary investigation reveals the victim was loading dirt bikes onto a trailer, as he was taking his son to Bud’s Creek to ride. At that time, an unknown suspect approached and ordered him to take one of the bikes off the trailer. During the incident the victim was shot.

On August 19, 2016 at approximately 4:20 a.m., a Southern District officer was turning into the 200 block of S. Calhoun Street when he observed two suspects chasing a man. One of the suspects shot the victim, a 35 year old male in the chest.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and is in serious but stable condition, and is expected to survive his injury.
Both suspects evaded apprehension and remain at large.

August 17, 2016 @ 1700 Malvern Street – Antron Muse (35) of the 6200 block of Fort View Avenue
August 17, 2016 @ 200 S Ellicott Drive – Steven B. Davis (47) of the Unit Block of N Bentalou Street
