- Marine Conservationist. Skippered Ady Gil in 2010 antia whaling campaign in Antarctica. Spent 5 months in Japanese prison after boarding their security vessel off a jetski at night.
Also skippered Earthrace (later named Ady Gil) in global circumnavigation record running biodiesel fuel made from waste cooking oils. (see www.earthrace.net )
Today I concentrate on catching illegal longliners, trawlers and shark finners, mostly in Africa and Latin America. I also work with governments in helping them manage and protect their marine resources.
