I attended CMC as a student from 1991-95 and as a teaching assistant from 92-97. The faculty and the staff were first-rate, and I have many fond memories both as a student and as a tutor/teaching assi...stant. I was lucky enough will I was there to be elected into the 1993 All-American First Team for Community and Technical Colleges and won a national Mensa essay competition a year later. I went on to get a BA and MA in English, a doctorate degree in education and an MA in TESOL. I am grateful to CMC for helping me achieve my goals. I particularly enjoyed acting in various plays for CMC and local community theater groups. I still have many friends in the Glenwood/Carbondale area, particularly among the faculty and staff. Thank you CMC for all you do. See More

1976-1978. I studied Commercial Art and Graphic Communications. Everything I learned was pre-computer graphics/digital illustration. Bob Yust was the head of the Commercial Art program then. CMC had g...reat instructors. There was enough cross over instruction between commercial art, photography and graphic communications/printing that I had no trouble finding work right out of college. I graduated 40 years ago and have enjoyed a long, happy career as a designer and illustrator. See More

The staff at the front desk...the counselors...the people in the cafeteria...all people at CMC are like this....It's a great place to get an education! See More

I went to CMC without seeing the campus and I was pleasantly surprised by the awesome peeps that were there. After more than 30 years later I still have the most wonderful friends from CMC and the bes...t memories of fun and learning from my professors and living and learning from my experiences that Glenwood Springs offered me! I miss The Springs restaurant (best house salad ever!). See More

The front desk staff at the Edwards campus is stellar in providing knowledgeable, friendly service! The campus is clean, safe and fun. The food is amazing too. The new teacher-licensing program is ...inense, but truly prepares me for my own classroom in the hands-on experiences I get in Mentor Teacher classrooms. See More

All the professors want you to succeed. They do anything they can to help you. If CMC offered mechanical engineering I would still be going to CMC. I failed Calc 1 twice at universities before passing... Calc 1 with an A and subsequently the next semester passing Calc 2 with a B. CMC is excellent for anyone who is looking to further the education. See More

Very easy to work with, staff was very responsive in helping get me signed up. I do internet-only classes, and all the systems work great and are relatively simple to work on. Classes could be more ...rigorous, even though they're online. See More

I love my courses! The smaller class sizes allow more interaction, instruction and means to retain information being taught! The staff is personable and all believe in their students. The availabili...ty of tutorials is a priceless benefit. I have and currently love my learning experience with Colorado Mountain College and thank all staff. See More
