With a global pandemic where we are encouraging social distancing an…d quarantine, it is good to see the private sector work to make grocery delivery accessible to all. This move by Instacart will help increase food security in a time where more than 54 million are experiencing food insecurity. I am very pleased Georgians in Columbus and Macon will be among the first in line to try this out and I hope Americans everywhere will have this option soon. Afficher la suite
This is really great news for Albany, where many jobs were lost 11 y…ears ago when the former owners of the MacGregor Facility unexpectedly left. For Albany to gain 100 new jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic is wonderful. I will continue supporting efforts to create new jobs and prosperity for Albany and the rest of our district. It is a great honor for me to continue to serve as Ranking Member on the MilCon and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Subcommittee; the Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food & Drug Administration, and Related Agencies; and the Subcommittee on the Legislative Branch.
