Terrible floods in Northern India. It's being called an 'Himalayan tsunami'. Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh have been badly affected. They're full of forests, hill ranges and snow-covered peaks and home to several pilgrimage sites and tourist attractions. Many pilgrims are trapped. Meanwhile, the rains appear to have breached the Charbari glacier, sending a huge torrent of ice, rock, mud and water across the mountain, engulfing Kedarnath town.
