Contemporaries - built late 1915, in service January 1916. The Zeppelin-Stacken R.IV serial R.12/15, and the Nieuport 11 "Bebe" serial N 872. The 6-engined (2 driving each propeller) R.12 served on the Eastern Front, then went west and took part in the first "Battle of Britain", bombing London. It survived the war. |
