What's cool about my journey is the transitions I've been through. They have made me what I am. Without them, without the pain, fears, struggles and set backs I would not have become the person I became and continually evolve into.

And that's why I teach, coach, share and help others who have similar goals to mine and an affinity to a life's purpose, through photography and business.

I've learned a lot from the school of hard knocks and have the bruises and wounds to prove it. I've studied hard, from other successful photographers and non photographers alike. There's nothing quite like being self-made. I believe it makes for a much more creative, individual and passionate life. Jospeh Campbell, one of my favorites, said it best: "Follow your bliss". Likewise, from the pain I gained as well, chosing to take every crappy experience and call it school, not join it like a club, where I visit it like old friends. Carl Jung said it best..."inside every neurosis is a gift" or something like that.

Favorite Quotes
  • "This is the true joy in life...being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one...being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy...I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be used up when I die. For the harder I work the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It's a sort of splendid torch which I've got to hold up for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations."
    George Bernard Shaw
