Plant to me is the equivalent of Disney World here in Cape Town. I get so excited when I walk through the door and can't wait to go back. No meal is ever a disa...ppointment and it's nice to pay for food that you won't generally make yourself at home. The biggest bonus is that no animals are harmed in the whole process so you can eat with a clean conscience and at least for an hour give all animals the respect that they deserve. عرض المزيد

It's perfect for vegetarian. We were there 27th Dec when Rivertone were playing. We were very disappointed with our waitress. We placed 2 Yellow Juices we wait...ed very long(30min ), then we saw the waitress bringing drinks to customers that came after us. Then waitress comes to us saying there is no more yellow juice. We saw her giving her last juice to customer last came after us. I don't know why she couldn't inform us earlier. Then when we were ordering our food and asking questions she was looking somewhere else. As we don't eat garlic and onion and wanted to find out from kitchen which ones they can remove garlic and onion. She looked annoyed. Please train waitresses to be more professional عرض المزيد

Perfect place for Vegetarian people. Nice ambiance and vibe in the restaurant. Some of the dishes we tried were delicious and mouthwatering. Specially the vegan... burger. Moreover, cherry on top of our visit was we happen to meet and take photo with Oscar winning Hollywood actor Forest Whitaker.

Day we went, service is little slow (may be due to Celebrity in there) but with good ambiance i won't mind waiting and absolutely cannot complain about it ;).

5 Star from my side and this place will top of my list to eat, if I visit Cape Town again. عرض المزيد

I'll give 1 star because that's the minimum I can give. After having our reserved table given away because we were 13 minutes late (after trying to phone the re...staurant for 15 minutes). I could go into detail, but essentially the concept of such a restaurant is great and I hope they get it together, because the service makes it unbearable. I have been to Plant for at least three years in a row, when I've visited Cape Town. It's such a treat for me as I come from rural Kwazulu Natal, where vegetar...ians are very rare, never mind, vegans! It's fantastic not feeling guilty about any of the food one's eating. Service was slow but hey this is Cape town and I was in no rush but the worst thing was after I settled my bill, and walked across to my motorcycle, the waiter ...comes to me and accuse me of not paying!!!!!Luckily I had my card payment slip that I used.I decided to confront the manager about this as surely before you accuse a customer of not paying his bill; IN PUBLIC!!!!you ask your colleages if they pickup the bill from a customer?This is absolutely poor service standard and a serious lack of management supervision and training of staff.I was absolutely embarrassed by this especially after giving a more than average tip.SHOCKING SERVICE عرض المزيد

Worst meal I've ever had here... watched the chef sticking her fingers in food and licking them and using them again... cold food,... only the server performed well!...new ownership doesn't suit the place!

A fabulous find. The yellow carrot apple and ginger juice makes miracles. Chickpea omelette HUGE. You won't leave hungry for sure. Good wine list too. We were really pleased to find after a long day so much we went back for breakfast the next morning. A relaxed pace, don't expect to rush.

I am quite disappointed. Last week I ordered the Beet Burger via Orderin. The patty itself was good - the rest of the burger was drenched in oil and mayo (to th...e degree that I felt nauseous). The burger with the side salad (and the dressing) was in the same container so the bottom half of the burger was just mush.

BUT

So please tell me why there is PRICE DIFFERENCES between what customers pay in the restaurant and what customers pay via orderin?? its not just R2 or R5 but R10 or more!! VERY UNETHICAL. عرض المزيد

I loved it. I went there for the first time today and the food was absolutely delicious. I can say that I am slowly being converted into a Vegan. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is great. Thank you PLANT for your efforts, we appreciate it.

Visited for the first time yesterday and it was amazing. I loved the quesadillas and my green juice was divine. I loved that raw chocolate avocado cake!! Food is delicious and reasonably priced. If I lived close by I would go to plant at least twice a week. I can't wait to go back.
