Theresa - I speak for lots of people when I say I’m very disappointed in these empty words. People’s lives must never be bargaining chips. We need to ring-fence... the agreement on citizenship rights. It’s the only way to give both EU citizens here and British citizens in the EU the peace of mind that, no matter what happens in the rest of the negotiations, their lives will be prioritised and protected. Also, as MPs we deal with immigration issues nearly every day, and the idea that the Home Office will dream up an efficient, new system for this is laughable.
