It is very true people don't know history. Fidel had the best of intentions. No one form of government is perfect. But I do understand that the Cuban people wan...ted their country cleaned up. My parents used to tell me about what Costa Rica and what Miami was like during those times it's f'n amazing. It's so much more different than what they teach you in school here. My parents had many Cuban friends back in CR and then lived all that stuff you've read about when they moved to Miami. If you were brown then you must be Cuban.
