Good news and bad news...

The good news is that after months of searching I finally found a host for the mp3 files that will allow me to put the music players back up.

The bad news is that the website host is no longer allowing custom html to be added to free websites. :( it's about $6 a month for a basic premium account.

Here is an extreme example of "disc rot" on a DeGarmo & Key album that I found at a Goodwill today. Basically it's cd deterioration. "Disc rot" doesn't always show up like this, but if you have cd's from the 80's, especially original DeGarmo & Key cd's on the Powerdisc label, you need to be aware of this and know what to look for and avoid when purchasing or keeping cd's.

Notice the splotches and how the print is visible on the underside of the disc. This is caused from dete...rioration of the inner layer between the two plastic discs due to poor manufacturing. The disc was not sealed properly and oxygen is making the layer breakdown.

Much to many folks' disappointment the audio streams of DeGarmo & Key's music from the website has been down for a while due to our online file host going out of business.

I'm searching for a new host that will provide direct link access for streaming mp3's but have yet to find one to meet our needs. If anyone knows of one please let me know.
