3Ls serving as Pro Bono Scholars got to meet Hon. Jenny Rivera of the NYS Court of Appeals at a reception last week. Before being appointed to the court, Judge Rivera taught at CUNY Law. The Pro Bono Scholars (l to r: Nate Broughty, Andrew Klaben-Feingold, Vincce Chan, Amira Hassan, and Angel Melendez) are interning at Queens Legal Services, providing much-needed services to clients on housing issues. They are supervised by Prof. Joe Rosenberg and attorneys from Queens Legal Services.
