A weakening area of low pressure in the Gulf will give quieter weather for a few days over the panhandle. Rain showers will still dot the landscape but the show...ers will slowly diminish going into the weekend due to weak northerly winds. These northerly winds will introduce cooler/drier air to the northern panhandle as well, so some snow may mix into the rain for as far south as the Icy Strait corridor. That being said, it's a small chance.
Rainy weather returns next week.
