So I am at the airport, on my way 'out of Africa', going back home after a fairly succesful first week in Zambia and second week in south Africa. I made it to two 1/4 finals and earned myself lots of points towards my world ranking 
😃 As the year comes to an end, I am well within my performance goals for 2017, and looking forward to one last tournament in Turkey next week before Christmas! But first an 11 hour flight home to regroup

So I lost in the 1/4 finals after playing an OK first set, but unfortunately reverting to poor shot selections in both the second and third sets. Now I am at Lusaka airport, about to fly to the next tournament in Pretoria, eager to improve upon my last result 😉
It was a long journey to Lusaka but well worth it 😃 Today I managed to win both my matches at the Zambia International, so tomorrow I will play the 1/4 finals against the number 4 seed! #feelingstrong.

The last couple of tournaments have been quite tough! 2 weeks ago in Egypt I battled over an hour against a better-ranked Egyptian with the home crowd on his side, and I eventually lost 19-21 in the last set

Last week at the Bitburger Open in Saarbrücken I managed to put up a good fight against the number 30 in the world, losing 16-21, 16-21

Now I am waiting to board the plane for the next tournament in Casablanca
