The Omni Hotel's second floor was packed, looking more like a gym, with people clad in sneakers, T-shirts and the occasional tutu or beads. Some came out to challenge themselves, others for a good cause, and others climbed in honor of those who died or are still fighting lung diseases.

Former Journal photographer Andrew Dickerman, 73, who died Feb. 14 while traveling in Thailand, will be remembered at a memorial service at 4 p.m. today at Congregation Agudas Achim, 901 N. Main St., Attleboro, Mass. View photos from his extensive portfolio.
