The fire remains active and has burned into Routt County and onto private land.

Transition to a Type III Incident Management Team will occur Thurs. p.m.
In addition to enormous aerial suppression efforts on Tues. and Wed., structure protection was a priority.
Both air and ground resources worked all parts of the fire on Wed.
Nearby landowners and ranchers have been contacted, and plans to move livestock if needed are in place.
Nearly 200 resources were working the fire on Wed.
