Shed Fire Contained — No Injuries Reported
On August 19, 2025, units from the Niceville Fire Department, North Bay Fire District, and East Niceville Fire District responded to a reported shed fire. Upon arrival, crews discovered a large shed fully involved.
Firefighters initiated a swift fire attack, successfully preventing the flames from spreading and eliminating the threat to nearby homes and structures.
...The fire is believed to have been caused by a lightning strike to a nearby tree, which also resulted in damage to at least one residence. Fortunately, no civilians were harmed, and no firefighters sustained injuries. The shed, however, was a total loss.
