Today, Irrigon Fire District worked with Morrow County Health District in establishing and securing a landing zone for Life Flight. Our crews were able to provide a safe landing area and assist in getting the patient transported quickly for further medical care.

Today IRFPD received a page to come provide mutual aide with URFPD. Umatilla and Irrigon firefighters worked on a fire at Highway 730 and Dans Lane. IRFPD provided a water tender. Today we remember… smoke, ash, dust… innocent lives were lost. Ground Zero. That day, the world stopped, shocked and in disbelief. We remember…. Just 24 years later, seems like yesterday. Thank you to the men and women who served that day in emergency services who sacrificed their lives to try and save the innocent lives of others. #patriotday
Lightning ignites a 400-acre wildfire near Patterson Ferry Road in Morrow County. Thanks to swift action from Boardman Fire Rescue, Irrigon Fire, and Umatilla Rural Fire, the blaze was contained in just over two hours. Special thanks to local farmers for helping create containment lines!
