UPDATE: SUSPECT IN CUSTODY

On the evening of Friday, December 15, 2017 at 8:27 p.m., Angleton Police Officers arrested Jonathan Green, a 29 year-old black male at a residence in the 700 block of S. Anderson Street charging him with Aggravated Sexual Assault after being identified as a suspect in the sexual assault which occurred in the early morning hours on Thursday, December 14 in the 200 block of S. Anderson near the railroad tracks. Green will be held on a $350,000 bond at Brazoria County Jail on the first degree felony charge. Green was arrested without incident. If convicted, Green faces a possible life sentence or a term not more than 99 years or less than 5 years and a fine up to $10,000. More charges may be pending in this case.
