66 small dogs and puppies, 9 cats, and 1 bird were rescued from unfathomable and cramped living conditions in a Kent County mobile home, Monday. A team of our staffers joined the Delaware Division of Public Health - DPH Office of Animal Welfare (OAW) to safely remove these poor animals found covered in filth and fleas, with little access to food, some whom were severely emaciated.
The survivors were taken to our Animal Rescue Cente...r in Georgetown, where our dedicated team has provided comfort, around-the-clock care, medical treatment, grooming, and the promise of a better life.

The best way to support this critical work is by donating. These dogs and cats will need spay and neuter surgeries, some will need more extensive care for injured eyes, teeth, and skin issues, and rehabilitation until they are ready for adoption.
