Mariam was saving money during her treatment to donate it to the center after she becomes a survivor. Mariam did not make it.
We received this piggy bank and letter today from her heavy hearted mom and dad. With short breaths and tears filling their eyes, they explained their loss and their reasons of pride. They talked about their beautiful Mariam and how rare she was.
…We share with you this touching and truly inspiring letter which she wrote a few days before she passed away. In her last days she knew that she will be leaving us soon and she did not want to go before writing her last words.
We pray for you Mariam to rest in peace and promise you to fight till we fulfill your wish of curing every kid.
And we promise Mariam’s parents to keep fighting cancer. To every one of us at CCCL, this fight is personal!
