On Monday, I was able to connect Scarborough Army veteran Bernard McFarland with medals he earned during his service at a ceremony with his family. He served nine years in the military and was deployed to Afghanistan three times. He and his family have both made incredible sacrifices in service to the country and it was an honor to help recognize them.
