UPDATE: The controversial Malindi-based Pastor Paul Nthenge Mackenzie, his wife Rhoda Mumbua Maweu and 16 other co-accused persons have accused police of denying them food while behind bars.

He has been denied bail after he failed to convince the Magistrate to set him free & will remain in police custody for five more days.

Shanzu Law Courts will on May 10 deliver a ruling on a request by police to detain them for 90 more days.
