The weather was so gorgeous today that Flirty and I took advantage of it and went to the zoo! It was perfect for walking around outside, and wasn’t terribly busy.

Flirty showed off her training, today. First, in the aquarium, a toddler bolted right behind her twice in a row. This kid couldn’t have been more than six inches behind her. Flirty stood stock still and let the kid pass safely, as she is trained to do.

Later, we were walking past a construction site and there was a... sudden loud noise that startled Flirty. She spooked forward a step, then followed her training and stopped and checked in with me. I reassured her it was nothing to worry about, and she immediately settled and returned to normal. This is only the third or fourth time she has ever spooked while working, she’s such a good and level-headed girl and trusts me to keep her safe.
