Help us congratulate Earline Middleton on 3️⃣0️⃣ years with the Food Bank!
3 decades ago Earline Middleton started a new job as Assistant to the Resource Development Director. She still has the original job offer letter! She's held many roles over the years, becoming a public face for the Food Bank, and shattered glass ceilings when she became our first female VP and first VP of color. Today, she is our Vice President of Partner Services & Public Policy - and our longest ser...ving employee.
What's one of the biggest changes she's seen? "We're more conscientious of the type of foods now, and considering what the benefit or the impact it has on a person's body." Last year, nearly 40% of the food we distributed was fresh produce, with another 20% being dairy and frozen meats.
