Idaho is a red state. Oregon is a blue state, as it has been for 3 or 4 decades. Democrats have won 29 of the 31 Oregon statewide races of the last twenty years.... (The two republican wins being Gordon Smith in 2002 and Dennis Richardson in 2016.) But we chose a group of counties that votes almost exactly the same as Idaho.
