We regret to inform you that our friends and fellow society - Lincoln University Conservatives - have had their social media access suspended.

In January, spiked released their rankings of free speech at universities and ranked Lincoln as 'red' - meaning they deemed Lincoln University student union to be very intolerant of free speech. Lincoln University Conservative Society screenshotted this, and tweeted it as part of their commitment to free speech.

As a result of this, t…heir Student Union deemed this acknowledgement of their intolerance of free speech as "bring[ing] the University of Lincoln Students' Union and the University of Lincoln into disrepute" and has restricted their use of social media.
