I’m sure some of you have either saw or heard about the social media pictures that were posted yesterday.
Please be assured the Long Branch Police Department was in constant contact with school officials, and the incident was fully investigated. No weapons were discovered, and there is no threat at this time. The person has been identified and interviewed. It was termed as “a joke”, and yes not a very good one considering recent events.
...Thank you for your continued vigilance in these matters. Working together we can prevent tragedies from happening in our City. Thank you to all those who called and texted with information.
