وجرى إلقاء القبض على بيرلوغ، الذي صدرت بحقه نشرة حمراء سارية من الإنتربول بناءً على طلب من السلطات الفرنسية، يوم الأحد الموافق (15) من يونيو (2025)م.

هذا، وقد كان بيرلوغ يتولى رئاسة لجنة الرقابة على محفوظات الإنتربول سابقاًَ، حيث صدرت بحقه نشرة حمراء بتهم تتعلق بالتزوير وعرض رشوة والتوسط فيها والاحتيال.

يأتي هذا في إطار عمليات تنسيق مستمرة مع الشركاء الدوليين من وكالات إنفاذ قانون ومنظمات دولية وإقليمية لما فيه أمن وسلامة المجتمعات الدولية، وفي المقابل، أقر المسؤولون الفرنسيون باحترافية وعزيمة وزارة الداخلية بدولة الإمارات، مشيرين إلى أن مثل هذا العمل المنسق يؤكد أهمية العمل الدولي المشترك لمواجهة الجرائم العابرة للحدود.

The Ministry of Interior in the UAE announced today the arrest of Vitalie Pîrlog, a Moldovan national wanted in connection with a cross-border corruption case.

Pîrlog, who had been the subject of an active Red Notice issued by INTERPOL at the request of French authorities, was apprehended on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
Previously, Pîrlog held the position of Chairman of the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s Files (CCF). He now faces multiple charges, including forgery, bribery, facilitating bribery, and fraud.
The arrest is part of a sustained and strategic collaboration with international law enforcement bodies, and regional and global organizations, reaffirming the UAE’s steadfast commitment to the security and stability of the international community. In a statement, French officials praised the UAE Ministry of Interior’s professionalism and resolve, emphasizing that such coordinated operations highlight the vital importance of international cooperation in tackling transnational crime.
