Jake Ash of Mountain Home, Idaho, died unexpectedly this week. He was just 31. He was raised an Air Force kid, and he became an Army veteran. His family is heartbroken today,
His proud parents, David Ash & Danielle Hillman, say he choked on some hard candy at his home and was found unresponsive. Doctors could not bring him back. It’s an absolute tragedy for his family and friends, something they still can’t believe. Their hearts are aching.
Here are some words from his lovi...ng and proud dad.
“Jake loved life, and loved everyone he ever came into contact with. He had the biggest heart.
He loved animals. Wherever Jake went, his dog Axle was right there next to him, excited for their next adventure.
His kindness was his best trait. He was always there for anyone who needed him, family or friends. This is why when we found out he was an organ donor, we all said... “that is so Jake”.
Through my tears of sorrow, I am so happy he will live on through so many. On Sunday, Jake will donate every organ he can to those in need.
We are asking that you do a small act of kindness on Sunday, the day he will give life to so many. We are calling it #JustForJake. Please spread the word and let Jake’s legacy spread across the world.
He was my everything. I love him more than life.”
~ David Ash, Proud Dad
This Sunday as Jake gives the ultimate gift, his family asks that we all help honor him by doing a simple act of kindness.
Please comment with #JustForJake if you plan to do something kind for others. I certainly plan on it. Jake is a hero. ❤️
