CLEAR THE SHELTERS – SATURDAY, JULY 23, 10:00 -5:00. ADOPTION FEES AT THE MUNCIE SHELTER WAIVED.
This Saturday, July 23, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, the Muncie Animal Shelter will be participating in the Clear the Shelters event. Clear the Shelters is a nationwide pet adoption initiative that aims to connect animals in need with loving new families. There will be NO ADOPTION FEE - only a $10 registration fee per pet. Last year, Clear the Shelters resulted in nearly 20,000 an...imals finding new homes in one single day. WTHR and NBC are teaming up to help clear the shelters this year.
As with any adoption, if you already have a dog and are looking to increase your family, a “meet and greet” in our play yard is strongly suggested. Also – if renting, proof that your landlord is pet friendly is required. Visit the shelter this Saturday, and take home your new best friend for only $10.
There will be no Pokemon Go Dog walking Saturday due to the adoption event.
