These employees are not leaving. They are living in our communities. They are mothers, fathers, grandparents supporting loved ones and contributing to our cities and towns. And you don’t… have to be an economist to know that a modest increase in income for lower-paid employees is likely to be spent on goods and services locally, supporting our local economy."
