Today during the nonviolent direct action to protect indigenous lands and public drinking water, protectors were sprayed with pepper spray and attacked by police dogs at the front lines. Coincidently phone and data reception dropped down to near nonexistent at the same time, but Amy Goodman from Democracy Now was on site with a film crew.
Women are also victims of dog bites.
