The second edition of the Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music starts in less than two months! And now it is time to present the Jury of the ensambles category:
🎼 Andrzej Tatarski (chairman) – pianist, teacher, member of the jury at international competitions. Leads a busy artistic life as a soloist and chamber musician. Recorded a number of albums with chamber and solo repertoire dominated by Polish and French music.
🎼 Pedro Pablo Cámara – Spanish… saxophonist and teacher, winner of multiple competitions. He has won more than 20 international competitions, such as Wettbewerb BOG in Basel, the Orpheus Swiss Chamber Music Competition in Basel, the Kiefer Hablitzel Göhner Musikpreis in Berne.
🎼 Gary Guthman – US-born trumpeter, jazz musician, composer, teacher and lyricist. Credited for being one of the most successful trumpeters in Canada where he taught trumpet, jazz ensemble and jazz composition. He performed in over 300 philharmonic halls in Canada and USA. Since his arrival in Europe in 2007, Guthman has successfully performed at numerous festivals. In Poland he established the Gary Guthman Quartet which he currently leads.
🎼 Krzysztof Meyer – distinguished composer, pianist, teacher, author of publications about music. Long-standing professor at the Academy of Music in Kraków and the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. For many years sat on the programme committee of the International Festival of Contemporary Music ‘Warsaw Autumn’ (Warszawska Jesień / Warsaw Autumn).
🎼 Igor Pylatyuk – violinist, conductor, teacher and musicologist, promoter of Ukrainian music. Frequent member of the juries at prestigious competitions. Rector of the Lviv National Music Academy named after Mykola Lysenko. Recipient of numerous state awards and medals in Ukraine and Poland.
🎼 Zdzisław Supierz – impresario, organiser of chamber and symphony music concerts as well as music productions in the Netherlands and other European coutries.
🎼 Tadeusz Wojciechowski – cellist, chamber musician and conductor, one of the leading music directors in Poland.
🖋 Janusz Ostrowski (secretary) – cultural activist, educator, pianist, consultant at the Centre for Artistic Education. He is a frequent member of competition juries.

The Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music is organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance and the Artur Malawski Philharmonic in Rzeszów (Filharmonia Podkarpacka im. Artura Malawskiego w Rzeszowie). The Competition is financed by the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport (Ministerstwo Kultury, Dziedzictwa Narodowego i Sportu), under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland (Kancelaria Prezydenta RP), Andrzej Duda. The Competition is a member of the Alink-Argerich Foundation’s piano competitions network.
