Dear Fellow Republicans:

I am writing this letter to ask you to contact your SREC Committee members, Area Leaders and Precinct Chairs(links at top) representing your precinct, to request the removal of Dr. Shahid Shafi as Vice Chair of the Tarrant County Republican Party. Dr. Shafi is a practicing. Mosque-attending muslim who claims not to follow sharia law or know what it is. As a practicing muslim that is an overt falsehood. Sharia law is anathema to our Constitution because Islam recognizes no other law but shariah.( https://www.theunitedwest.org/…/raheem-kassam-the-sharia-t…/ ) As the most conservative county in the nation, this is a demoralizing blow to the conservative rank and file of the Republican Party across the nation and in Texas. Why was this done and for what purpose?

As we saw across the nation, there were over 90 muslims running for office, with 2 or 3 winning their Primary races along with a Democrat Muslim recently winning an election for City Council in Euless, Texas. Dr. Shafi also recently won a second term on the City Council from Southlake. He has even started his own Republican Club. Please open link as to why this should concern you.( http://blog.godreports.com/…/how-islam-takes-over-countries/ ) Another red flag appointment is Lisa Grimaldi Abdulkareem appointed as Vice-Chair for the Precinct Chair & Volunteer Recruitment Committee. Who will be recruited?

Those of us who follow this islamisation issue closely are very concerned at this infiltration of the nation's most conservative county and the ramifications to our continuing to remain a red State. The conservative base of the Republican Party has always been the conscience and moral compass of our Party and the fact that alleged conservatives are enabling this is disconcerting and must surely alarm us. IMO, this push is originating from our Party leadership under James Dickey in Austin and the Libertarian wing within the Party. The Big Tent with "diversity" and "inclusion" as its cornerstones will continue chipping away at the morale of the rank and file Republicans who vehemently oppose this push. Our Party Platform is in the crosshairs of the Big Tent proponents, ostensibly because it is too long & our Legislators don't bother to read it.

Our Platform is the heart & soul of the Party and the Delegates who put their time & energy into getting those planks in it. It expresses our desires and our will and we EXPECT those whom we elect to read it through, abide by it and work to legislate from it. IMO the push to reduce the size of our Platform is for the purpose of appealing to a broader base of people who may object to some of those planks so it must be remade to be more "diverse" & "inclusive" for that "Big Tent". Who gets to choose what planks remain in our Platform in their vision of a new and easier to read, user friendly version?

The concept of the Five Legislative Priorities introduced during the 2014 State Convention were to wean us off those 300+ platform planks and condense the platform into a feel good mission statement with 5 planks. As we saw during this last State Convention in San Antonio, the Illegal Immigration Plank that we fought so hard for and which is currently the number 1 issue of concern to ALL Americans nationwide, was done away with and removed by the Platform Committee. Illegal immigration and its new gateway into America the Refugee Resettlement Program is how America is being transformed before our eyes.

As for the SD9 committee members appointed to serve on the Platform and Rules Committees, one, Anthony Reed, was a staffer for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and the other , Jorge Landivar, an amnesty/open borders supporting Libertarian. Anyone care to guess how they voted on the illegal immigration plank?
Mr Dickey appointed Chris Howe, Libertarian, to be the SREC parliamentarian, Faith Bussey, Libertarian, is a paid contractor by Dickey and a few others lurking in the wings. Conservatives, we have a problem.

It is past time we took our Party back with no apologies to anyone before any more damage is done to the rank and file citizens of our State who are tired of being ignored by those we have entrusted to represent us. I asked a gentleman why he thought attendance was down by 40% across the State at our District Conventions and he stated he thought voters were angry at POTUS Trump. Dude, our morale is at low ebb because we are being betrayed by our own leadership on our most important issues.

Please contact the folks I mentioned above and demand they take action at the next Executive Committee meeting on September 13th to rectify these bad appointments.

PS. It has come to my attention that Darl Easton & minions are attacking myself and others who are actively fighting this infiltration of our Party. You will likely receive a call from them in the near future to scare you into compliance with their position by claiming this will damage the November Election and Republicans. THE ONLY THING THAT WILL DAMAGE REPUBLICANS IS THEIR CONTINUED NON ACTION. NON ACTION IS THE SAME AS CONSENT. The most conservative Republican county in the nation/state is at risk. The morale of Republican voters is AT RISK.
