A recent letter to the editor in the Evansville Courier & Press expressed concerns with a Medicare Part B payment model experiment proposed by CMS.
Judith A Pahmeier, a Hoosier rheumatologist, wrote, "I am deeply concerned by a recent proposal from the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that could result in further payment cuts for Medicare Part B drugs. If implemented, this mandatory payment model test would wreak havoc on patients and cause massive access and safety problems."
In May, I introduced legislation to block this experiment and protect patients. Find out more about my legislation here: http://goo.gl/jWXrJH.
