Ukraine Su-27 crash update.

Scramble was provided with some pictures of the crash wreck of the Su-27 in Ukraine in which the pilot was killed. In the photo's you see Su-27 code 55 blue, c/n 36911021308, of probably 831 Guards Tactical Aviation Brigade, resting in the fields just outside Ozerne Airfield (Ukraine) in between the approach beacons.

The cause of the crash, which occured on 15 december 2018, is still not known. It is likely the pilot was not aware of his aircraft's… actual altitude. The Flanker itself is not completely destroyed and it clearly skidded through the fields horizontally.
